Today I decided I wanted to shoot a portrait for my photo of the day. I didn’t feel like bothering anyone to pose so I thought I’d just use myself. This led to me getting discouraged by my modeling skills pretty quickly/tripping over my tripod more than once. Finally I realized there is no way I can be comfortable in front of the camera unless I’m being silly. So I made a makeshift backdrop out of a 99 cent thrift store book and grabbed whatever “props” were nearby and got these as a result. It’s funny because I am rarely in photographs and would never of done something like this if it wasn’t for this 365 day project. So now I have at least four examples of what I look like at age twenty-five.
